Whiting Society
What is the Whiting Society?
The Whiting Society is our way of thanking those who have remembered Washburn in their estate plans.
A provision for Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation in your estate planning automatically qualifies for membership in the Whiting Society. Each gift helps encourage others to make similar gifts for Washburn.
In 1906, Albe B. and Kate Whitney Whiting established a provision for Washburn through income from Mount Hope Cemetery for 1,000 years. Like the Whitings' example, each estate gift helps shape the future of Washburn University.
